Best Ice Cream Recipe

This is post #3 for the day, but I told Layne I'd post this delicious recipe. If you have an ice cream maker you really ought to try it. It always turns out fabulous! Layne did rhubarb in place of strawberries and it was awesomely good! I actually got this recipe from Tami. Enjoy!

Strawberry Ice Cream
1 pint cream
1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 quart whole milk
1 small pkg. vanilla instant pudding
2 c. sugar
4 Tblsp. vanilla
1 quart mashed strawberries (or raspberries or rhubarb)

Butter Brickle Fickle
1 pint cream
1 can evaporated milk
1 quart whole milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
3/4 c. sugar
4 Tblsp. vanilla
3 crushed Butterfinger bars (add about 10 minutes before ice cream is done)

Mint
Same as butter brickle except substitute vanilla pudding with chocolate. Add 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract (I don't and it still turns out yummy) and 1/2 pkg. crushed grasshopper cookies and 1 pkg. crushed Andes mints.

All three recipes- throw it all in together and follow your machine instructions. It blends together just fine and is yum, yum, yummy!
Mint

I think this is the summer that the Bearden's buy an icecream maker. I can't believe we've made it this far without one. I LOVE homeade icecream and your recipes look soo good.
