Fish Lake 2012

We had a great time at Fish Lake this year.  Usually we feel like 4 days is just right, but this year we wish we had one more day!  There were lots of things we just didn't get to do!  We all had a great time together.  We really didn't take many pictures.  These are all from Richards phone and there are hardly any pictures with cousins.  I'm hoping that Jon took some more pictures that I can share later.  Here are the pictures we did get:
Ready to head out on the boat first thing in the morning!
Kate loved the boat, and there is nothing like being out on the boat in the morning when the air is crisp and cool and the lake is smooth!
 Fishing is just so fun!
Emma caught the first fish of the day...proud Grandpa looking on.
Landon and Daniel from the top of the mountain above Bowery Haven where we stay.
 Cool picture
 Dan Man
I love this picture of Daniel dunking his head in the steam.  He looks so tan and buff!
The cousins all worked together for a long time to build this awesome fort
 A view from the side
 Mom and Kate
 Kate testing the winds.
Some of the highlights and favorites that were not captured on camera included:

Walking to the Lodge and getting ice cream

Landon, Daniel, Hailey, Carter, Connor, and Parker jumping in the fuh-reezing lake multiple times off the boat.

Watching Dave and Jake dance during our Dance party

Richard and I learning how to fillet fish.  Why have we never done this before?  It's awesome and we will never go back.

Delicious food including zucchini bread, dutch oven meals, yummy breakfast burritos, spinach salad with chocolate in it (yes, chocolate), smores and banana splits.

Being with family

Painting fingernails and toenails

Decorating Grandpa cabin with reasons we love him

Glow sticks

and last but not least......

Kate changing her outfit ten times a day- which is pretty impressive, because I only brought five outfits.

Trek

Landon had the wonderful opportunity of going on Trek this year.  It was our wards Youth Conference and all the youth ages 12-18 were included.  Since Landon will turn 12 this summer they allowed him to go.  Richard went along also as a member of the bishopric.  I was so happy that they got to share this experience together.  They had an amazing time and from what I have been told, Landon ate a TON of food and helped out a TON.  I am so thankful that he is such a great kid.  Whenever they needed help filling up water or setting things up Landon was first to help. I am so proud of the wonderful young man he is and am so glad that he could go along on this great trip.
