Round #4

In the right corner we have Katelyn McAllister, weighing in at a whopping 15 pounds and displaying her beautiful new two front teeth! She has a fresh poke in her left thigh that has the power of Rocephin behind it- she has been in the ring three times before, but has not been able to defeat her opponent yet. Let's hope that this fight will be a turn around for Kate. In the other corner we have a nasty, frustrating double ear infection, weighing in at absolutely nothing, but packs an awful punch! Ear infection has defeated amoxicillan, zithromax, and omnicef! Pretty impressive! Could this be the time that Ear infection will be defeated? One can only hope!

Rocephin, Rocephin, its our man, if it can't do it, no one can!!!

Draper Temple Open House

Yesterday we were able to go to the Draper Temple open house. I'm sure the kids were heartbroken about getting checked out of school to go to it! But since we went in the middle of the day in the middle of the week there were no lines and no waiting- not even for the buses! We really enjoyed it and the kids all behaved so nicely (even Kate). We were glad that we could take the opportunity to go and for the learning experience it was for our children. We are so thankful for temples and that our family is eternal!

The Boys are Back!

Don't feel like you have to watch the whole thing, because its kindof long. But my funny Daniel just loves to dance and knows every word to this song. I was laughing so hard I was crying. What a funny guy! And look at how fast his feet move!

HSM III Par-tay!

The kids and I went to the South Town Mall today just to get some pants for Landon, and have some lunch. Little did we know that there was a High School Musical 3 extravaganza going on! Radio Disney was there and there were many of the cast members and extras that had been in the movies. One of the "Sharpettes" was there and the two little boys who play Troy and Chad in "The Boys are Back" were actually there. There were like 20 people who had been dancers in the shows and they did all sorts of dances to medleys from the movies. My kids were loving it! Landon won a HSM DVD game for answering a trivia question- pretty cool! They taught all the kids a couple of dance moves and Daniel and Emma were totally dancing and having so much fun. Of course, I didn't have my camera with me! I am so going to buy the DVD tomorrow and then my kids can see all the dancers in the movie that they got to dance with today! Fun stuff!

Happy Valentines!

This little cutie is the reason I haven't posted for two weeks.  She got a double  ear infection 2 weeks ago and we gave her amoxicillan.  That didn't work.  So back to the Dr. and we gave her Zithromax.  That didn't work.  So back to the Dr. and now she is on Omnicef.  Please, please, please work!  Her poor tummy is not too happy from all the antibiotics and 2 bottles of Motrin on top of it.  And let me tell you, she wins the prize for the messiest, biggest blow-out I have ever experienced with a baby.  Fun stuff.

My funny Valentine!

Last night Richard and I had our first (and much needed) date since having Kate.  My cousin, Madison babysat and Kate screamed for her most of the time we were at dinner.  We came home so I could feed her and put her down for the night and then we went to the Stake dance!  Its been a long time since we danced and we had a fun time! After all, I decided I really liked Richard after first dancing with him at Retrix 13 years ago!  He's a wonderful dancer and its always a special treat to dance with my sweetie and just be with him and no kids! Thanks, Madison for babysitting!!

Last Saturday Richard took the kids down to the cabin for a snow day.  I stayed home with Kate, who was feeling pretty miserable and prepared for a talk I had to give in Sacrament and for sharing time the next day, since I had spent the whole week holding a sad baby.  The kids had a wonderful time, of course!  They loved time spent on snowmobiles, sleds and with cousins!

Everyone cross your fingers for the Omnicef!

Delicious!

Mmmmm! The kids didn't have school yesterday so we made these yummy treats! They were devoured by the end of the day!

I had to post these cute pics of Kate because I feel bad that I complained about her being so colicky. She is a little difficult to figure out, but she sure is a cutie! Yesterday I took her to the Dr. and she has an ear
infection.:(
