While I was downstairs on the computer, my loving husband came down to bid me farewell for the day. He gently and affectionately swooped down and gave me a sweet kiss. He said, "You gotta admit, that was smooth." I smiled as he turned to leave and promptly tripped up the stairs.
Yeah, baby. Smooth.

It's a good dose of reality! Men are never as cool as they think they are. But I always say, it takes a lot of ego to be a man so we pretend to build them up however we can!
I can just picture his sheepish grin. Priceless.

I'm with Layne, if he pretended to tie his shoe, or turned it into a fancy dance, then that was a good recovery.
